My Place
Well, this is the first time ive ever started a post off with a video, but i highly suggest to all my readers to watch this video, to . . . well, set the mood of this post before you continue reading.
Through today and yesterday I've been feeling rather inspired, and I've taken pen to paper once more, granted - my comic skills, or at least drawing skills in general, are somewhat lacking, and I am still without working home computer to animate with - but I've been putting pen to paper in order to at least get the groundlines down, because I've been working on Dark Future once more.
I have now completely re-worked all of my storyboards for Chapter 1 - Episode 1, and its now almost double its original length - and looking back at my old material, I'm seeing a new level of maturity in my work - then again, looking back at something from almost 5 years ago does that to you! XD
I guess with lampeter around the corner, things like this arent just a quick burst of inspiration for my own funsies, thier important to my portfolio too - so I'm re-working everything I've written before as a basis for my spare time projects as well as my portfolio which managed to secure me a place here, and with any luck, my own PC at home should be repaired soon enough, which will mean MY videos will be appearing up at the top of these posts soon enough
Yeah, as many have seen, my arty side has come out to play, and more material will be appearing online soon. It feels good to let my arty side out to play again after all of this, to let my mind wander for a while into these storys I've been dreaming for so long, the Heros and Villans along the different shades of grey, just trying to survive in the name of a greater good which causes so many morally ambigious choices to be made, sacrifices great and small - the world i used to use as my escape from bullying is now becoming my ticket for a better future - more material will be posted up soon folks.
And oh yeah - as an artist, i have one thing to say . . .
